Saturday Photo Post (No longer in absentia)

Well, let’s be honest with each other here: I’m lazy, and I’m struggling to come up with anything meaningful here. For some reason I blame my absentmindedness on Fracas’ damn poison tomatoes, but the jury is still out.

Regardless, the Reverend is never one to disappoint, so here’s a picture I snapped at a cemetery just around the corner from my folks’ place.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a milk bath awaiting me…I’m told it’s good for sunburns.

  • one of the favourites of mine after you posted your link on FMB’s forum about this series of photos … great to see it again :-)

I completely forgot that I posted this set! I actually lost this entire set due to computer problems for a brief time; I was so thankful upon finding them (around 300 pictures) that I had to put one up-

  • loves it! i have another of the graveyard/yellow flower series as my laptop’s desktop background, and have had it there for months. such a talented rev.

  • The flower looks likes it’s bowing it’s little head in prayer…that’s a very peaceful photo. :)

Milk bath?!? I thought you hated milk?! Well, just look out for any big ‘ol gelatinous globs & you’ll probably be OK…

    Thanks-
As for the bath, sometimes you’ve gotta go to extremes; it worked for Queen Nefertiti, after all….or was it Cleopatra? Should have paid more attention in class….

  • Reminds me of a DUMB joke…

A blonde heard that milk baths could help make her face more beautiful…so she left a note for her milkman to leave 25 gallons of milk.

When the milkman read the note, he felt there must be a mistake. He thought she probably meant 2.5 gallons. So he knocked on the door to clarify the point.

The blonde came to the door and the milkman said, ‘I found your note asking me to leave 25 gallons of milk. Did you mean 2.5 gallons?’

The blonde said, ‘No, I want 25 gallons. I’m going to fill my bathtub up with milk and take a
    milk bath!’

The milkman replied, ‘OK – do you want it pasteurized?’

The blonde said, ‘No, just up to my boobies – I’ll splash it up onto my face’.

    ;)

    Zing!

  • I always get creepy feelings when I think about graveyards. But you have made the cemetery look aesthetic. I think I’d be less scared now (I hope so). Excellent shot!
